Travel description Peru

Peru, a country steeped in ancient cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and impressive architecture.

You arrive in the capital, Lima. An experienced guide will show you the historic center and colorful neighborhoods such as Miraflores and especially Barranco, where colonial architecture stands alongside modern art and design.

From Lima, you fly to Arequipa, an ideal stop to acclimate to the altitude. We explore the "White City" with a guide. With its charming colonial architecture, lively squares, and rich cultural heritage, Arequipa is one of the most visited destinations in Peru. We end the day dining at a top restaurant.

The next day, you start your first horseback riding experience. The three-day Arequipa to Beach Trail takes you from Arequipa through the desert to the Pacific Ocean beach, where you can enjoy a full gallop.

Next, you head towards Colca Canyon with a guided bus tour offering breathtaking views of the surrounding volcanoes and detailed explanations of the local fauna and flora. You visit the Colca Canyon, marvel at the majestic Condor's flight at the Mirador Cruz del Condor and enjoy visits to some old villages along the way. Finally, you arrive at the Colca Lodge hotel, where you can enjoy the natural thermal baths and the spa.

The following morning, your second horseback riding experience awaits. A 6-hour ride from the hotel in the canyon area.

Then you fly to Cusco, once the capital of the mighty Inca Empire, with its beautiful colonial buildings and ancient Inca ruins. Cusco is hailed as the most beautiful city in South America.

A little further, you visit the enchanting ruins of Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the highlight of any trip to Peru. Once the hidden capital of the Incas, untouched by the Spaniards.

During this trip, the focus is on horseback riding, and here you will enjoy the 5-day "Valle Sagrado" Horse Trail. Experience the enchanting beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a unique way - on horseback. Everything looks so much more beautiful from the back of a horse. Ride through picturesque landscapes, past historical landmarks, through valleys, along rivers, and ancient Inca ruins. Be guided by an experienced indigenous guide who knows every trail and tells you everything about the history of the Incas, agriculture, and medicine.

Enjoy especially the delightful Paso horses with two additional gaits.

After this amazing adventure, you will relax in a luxury hotel before flying back to Lima and back home.

This trip to Peru offers an experience that will stay with you forever.
