Travel description South Africa

Visiting South Africa is a journey of discovery that will touch your heart. It offers unparalleled beauty, from the majestic Table Mountain to the vibrant streets of Johannesburg, from a Big Five Safari to stunning wine estates, and breathtaking coastlines and beaches.

Upon arrival, you will visit Johannesburg, a city deeply connected to Nelson Mandela and Apartheid, but also featuring a new, modern city and business center in stark contrast to the infamous Soweto.

On the second day, the highlight of this trip begins with the “Big 5 Horse Safari” in a beautiful private reserve within the Entabeni Nature Reserve in Waterberg. This malaria-free area spans 22,000 hectares and is home to a diverse range of wildlife. Each day, you will embark on a stunning ride across the savanna, guided in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, and more. Additionally, you will go on jeep excursions to look for predators. You will ride in two different areas: the higher plateau with open plains and unique rock formations, and the lower plateau, separated by 600-meter-high cliffs. You will ride a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 hours each day. Accommodations are in excellent tents and comfortable lodges where you can relax wonderfully. Experience the taste of South Africa at the ‘braai’ and enjoy a glass of delicious South African wine.

After the safari, you will take a flight to Cape Town. At the foot of Table Mountain, you will find the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment, with beautiful sea views and Robben Island.

Next, you will travel to the wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, featuring guided city walks, visits to wine estates, and wine tastings.

Here, you have a second riding experience, the “Cape Winelands Overnight Trail” in the famous vineyards above Stellenbosch, including a sunset ride and a visit to a wine estate.

From here, you will head to the coast for the third riding experience, the two-day “Overberg Horse Trail” on the beach of Gansbaai, where you can spot whales.

You will then explore the breathtaking coastline of the Western Cape, visiting places like Hermanus with its whales, Betty’s Bay and Boulders Beach with penguin colonies, Cape of Good Hope, and continuing your journey via Chapman’s Peak Drive, the scenic coastal route between Hout Bay and Noordhoek.

Finally, you arrive in Noordhoek where you will spend the last night.

On the last day, you have a relaxed morning at the hotel or on the beach. In the afternoon, you will begin your journey back with numerous scenic stops along the way, ensuring a drop-off at the airport in time for your 6:30 PM flight home, arriving the next day.

After this trip, you'll say: “This was my best trip ever.”
